AnyCup v1.0: All-in-1 Procedural Generator for Cups, Pots, Vases, Bowls, Glasses, Mugs, Jugs, etc. (Blender 3.5+)

AnyCup is a geometry nodes tool that let's you procedurally generate high-quality cups, pots, vases, bowls, glasses, mugs, jugs, bins and other containers using just a single node!

This generator offers a ton of customizability and outputs a single quad-based topologically correct shape.

Features of the base nodegroup include:

• Basic controls like Height, Radius, Thickness and Resolution
• Smooth, seamless and customizable Handles
• Rim customisation for Top and Bottom
• Twist, Square and Wave deformations
• Customizable Presets for Shapes
• ...and a lot more!

All of the objects shown below are 100% procedural and made using the same general AnyCup node.
The full version comes with these ten presets, including materials!

It also outputs accurate results at different resolutions (2k, 8k and 32k vertices respectively):

Custom Shape Presets can be made by going into the node editor and editing the Float Curve nodes.

The Float Curve represents the profile of the shape, aka a 2d shape that gets wrapped around to make a 3d shape. Five of them are already filled in, with another five available. A preset is selected in the main node using the Custom Shape Preset slider.

This generator was made for Blender 3.5+

I want to update this generator in the future. One thing I'd like to add is a lid system, so that you can easily make containers that are closed off.

Ideally users will be able to choose 3 kinds of lids in terms of topology:

• Connected lid, inside excluded (barrels, cans)
• Connected lid, inside included (same thing, but includes inside mesh)
• Seperate lid mesh (tupperware, fast-food cups, pots etc)

Other potential updates include horizontal handles and handles on both sides, just more options for handles in general.
